Suunto, a subsidiary of Amer Sports Corporation, is at the forefront of design and innovation for sports watches, dive computers and sports instruments used by adventurers all over the globe. From the highest mountain to the deepest ocean, Suunto physically and mentally equips outdoor adventurers to conquer new territory.
Suunto wanted to provide sports enthusiasts the ability to visualize and share their sports activities as motion video, all from the palm of one’s hand using the Suunto Movescount app.
The solution, Suunto Movies, combines a mobile 3D renderer, cloud service back-end, and a fusion of geospatial, elevation, weather, and tracking data. The movies are generated on the device and viewable from the application and the web.
The created solution serves Suunto users globally, no matter where their sport activities take them.
Intopalo provided us hard-to-find graphics expertise in mobile 3D rendering, data fusion and dynamically scaling web services. Intopalo proposed and reacted quickly to changing technology selections and delivered results in a timely manner. Our cooperation continues in partnership mode.
